Hello!! Thanks for visiting our site and tuning into our first blog! This is Megan Alexander, the Project Manager. So much has happened in the month since our project first took off. We were first presented with 3 project options for this year in Guatemala. Through working with our NGO, Asociacion Proyecto 1 (AP1), we have chosen our project to be a teaching kitchen for Garden of Hope. In the coming weeks, we will be working to prep our HornRaiser crowdfunding account that goes live on October 30th!! Our goal will be $15,000 in 30 days, so please keep a lookout for more info! Additionally, we have our first Service Learning Advisory Board (SLAB) presentation on October 23. In this presentation, we will be presenting our project to various Professional Engineers and UT faculty members known as SLAB. SLAB is in charge of approving our project as the year progresses, so wish us luck!!!
